REVEAL: JAYE HOME OFFICE

I’m sooo excited to share my little office with you today! It’s a small space, but there are a few DIY projects in here that were fun to work on, and now it’s a place I love working. Hope you like it!

In our house we have a little “pocket office” right off the kitchen. On one side is the pantry and on the other side is this workspace. I’ve been working in here for about a year, but it was time to spruce it up & make it feel a little more like Jaye.

To start with one of the DIY projects and my favorite thing in here: I designed this 8’ door & my husband JC built it for me! Adding the privacy makes a huge difference & I love the character it adds from the kitchen.

There are a few DIY projects in here, like this pinboard. I needed something with specific dimensions to work with the narrow wall space, couldn’t find what I needed, so I went to the craft store & made my own with a cork board & linen fabric. Super easy & now I have a spot to look at inspiration for current projects & things I love.

Not even sure these shelves count as a DIY, but I also couldn’t find the perfect white shelves that I liked, so I cut one long board down(read: hiding in the corner of my dad’s shop while he used the table saw), & spray painted some hardware to hang these shelves.

Biggest perk - a cold Diet Coke is always within reach. haha!

I’ve wanted to use these Citrus prints from Juniper Print Shop for forever, and they’re perfect in here! Fun fact(loose definition of fun) - lemons are my favorite fruit.

Something about making even the smallest spaces feel unique just gets me. I love being in here now & feel a lot more inspired to create. Thanks for being here! xx
